These forms of political campaign advertising still play a big role, but thanks to the dawn of the digital age, we now have a new tool we can add to our arsenal: the World Wide Web.

Dream: Funeral/Parade. Political Advertising? Any ideas?

Monday, May 23rd, 2011

The dream went like this:

My sister and i opened up a window and were looking out of it to watch a funeral procession, that was a parade at the same time. (The window was very large. we were in a house.i am not sure whether or not it was supposed to be my house).
My friends dad had passed away and we couldn’t go to the funeral or weren’t invited. i forget which. Anyways it was a parade and there were people dressed in scottish kilts playing bagpipes but it was the 4th of july parade, and also the funeral.
There was this man that was leading the parade, playing bagpipes and he hollered at us from the ground to close the window, that we weren’t allowed to watch the funeral from the window, and that the window had to be closed because the others in the parade and the spectators had to be able to see the papers on the window. There was political advertising covering the entire window. (like before a mayoral or presidental race)…..
and we had said that we didnt know why the advertising was on the windows because we didnt put it there and it was our window and didnt want it on there. and we couldnt see out the window thats why we opened it.
he repremanded us and told us to shut the window so that everyone could see the advertising and that we werent allowed to watch the funeral/parade.
we closed the window then talked about it saying it wasnt fair. so we opened the window back up and he hollered at us again. so we kept it open a crack…. so that we could see what was going on outside

"To see your sister in your dream, symbolizes some aspect of your relationship with her, whether it one of sibling rivalry, caring, protectiveness, etc. Your sister may draw attention to your family role and sense of belonging. It may also serve to remind you that someone in your waking life has characteristics similar to your sister. Alternatively, your sister may be a metaphor and actually refer to a nun. In this case, she may represent spiritual issues.

To see windows in your dream, signifies bright hopes, vast possibilities and insight.

To dream that you are looking out the window, signifies your outlook on life, your consciousness, point of view, awareness, and intuition. You may be reflecting on a decision and seeking guidance. Or you need to go out into the larger world and experience life. If you are looking in the window, then it indicates that you are doing some soul searching and looking within yourself.

To dream that you are at somebody else’s funeral, signifies that you are burying an old relationship and closing the lid on the past. You may be letting go some of the feelings (resentment, anger, hostility toward someone) that you’ve been clinging onto. If your are dreaming that you are at a funeral of an unknown person, then it suggests that something in your life is supposed to put to rest or put aside so that you can make room for something new. You need to investigate further what aspect or component of your life you need to let go.

To dream that you are watching a parade, indicates that you are being sidetracked or distracted from achieving your goals. For fear of failure, you may stop yourself from even pursuing your goals and desires. Alternatively, the parade symbolizes cycles, passage of time, or a special event in your life. Consider also the symbolism of whatever figures/animals/floats are in the parade. They may reflect a need for you to possess or control those attributes.

To see shut windows in your dream, signifies desertion and abandonment."
